Adventure tourism, adventure travel, or adventure holidays, dependent upon which term you wish to employ, can mean anything from trekking deep into the heart of the Ecuadorian Rainforest to finding oneself climbing the Cotopaxi, one of the highest mountains located at the Avenue of the volcanoes.
